Sue Jackson – Director
Sue has been consulting to many of Australia’s Top 100 companies for almost two decades. She joined Solterbeck in 1990, became a Director in 1996 and subsequently purchased the company outright. Prior to this she held marketing positions with Nicholas Kiwi, Jacobs Suchard (Toblerone) and News Limited.
Sue’s vision was to build Australia’s leading performance improvement company, with a breadth and depth of services that provided an end to end solution for companies wishing to engage and inspire their employees and business partners.
Highly regarded for her knowledge, she is frequently asked to speak at industry forums and is often quoted in business publications. She is a member of the AMI, SITE and the world-wide, by invitation only, Entrepreneurs Organisation.
Sue holds a Masters of Marketing from Melbourne University and Bachelor of Business (Marketing).
David Jackson – Director
Dave has an enviable reputation for his strategic ability. He has created many of the performance models which have now been adopted by Australia’s leading companies, such as ANZ, AAPT, Aventis, BMW, Coca-Cola, Fosters, Honda, Lion Nathan, L.J. Hooker, Mazda, NEC, Optus, Suncorp, AMEX and Virgin Blue. He has also been instrumental in the development of Solterbeck’s innovative suite of online software products – PerformanceCentre, RewardCentre and EventCentre.
Dave consults to clients on program strategy and implementation. This includes performance measures, communication campaigns, cash and non-cash reward fulfilment, and software systems. Dave’s work has been consistently recognised as best in class, winning multiple industry awards.
Before joining Solterbeck in 1994, Dave’s background was in marketing and business management with Marketing Melodies, KFC and Brashs. In 2001 he became a Director of Solterbeck.
Dave has an MBA from Melbourne University and a Bachelor of Business from Monash University.
David Marshall – Managing Director
David was Director of Blitz Incentive Marketing for four years, which he subsequently sold to Solterbeck in 2004. He became a Director of Solterbeck Software in 2006.
At Blitz, David developed the foundation of the PerformanceCentre software. Drawing from a background that included three years as the Incentive Manager at Optus, he created an online product that answered the desperate need for better sales incentive management and reporting.
David has successfully developed dozens of Sales Incentive Plans (SIPs) across all channel types for companies including Singtel Optus, Mayne, Dick Smith, Optus World, American Express, AAPT, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone. He also develops compelling performance incentive and recognition programs, designing the strategic Blueprints for many of our Clients such as BMW Financial Services, L.J. Hooker and IOOF.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University.
